Friday 12/15/23 Journal Entry

I typically do not come in on Friday for an office shift, but I wanted to make up my hours for missing Monday due to a family emergency. There were about 20 emails when I logged in due to it being the holidays and classes being finished, there are not as many people coming into work. We had quite a few refund requests sent in for future camps as well as camps that had passed from the week before. We had some questions regarding confirmation for a camp coming up this weekend as well. The confirmation email had the wrong equipment listed and parents were confused as to why they needed the equipment when it was not even pertaining to the sport that is hosting the camp. We ensured that it was just a mistake on our part and gave them the information needed in order to be prepared for the camp. We also had some questions regarding the upcoming golf camp at the beginning of the year. They were trying to get some kids to move to the morning session due to the numbers being small for it, so they had reached out to some parents. I called a concerned parent about the price difference between the two and ensured that he would get a refund for the difference. I continued to monitor the emails throughout my shift and answer any calls that had come through as well for the remainder of my shift.
