I started my shift out per usual by checking emails and listening to any voicemails that had been left over the weekend. We had no voicemails that had been left, so I had one less thing on my list to do this morning. We had many questions in regard to upcoming summer camps. Typically the most popular camps in the summer are the football camps. Many parents were inquiring about football camps for their camper and when they would open up or what camp would be the best fit for them. There are really only two types of camps when it comes to football it is a youth camp held for younger children and then prospect age camps that recruiters come to and the campers do multiple activities to show off their talents. We also had questions about swimming and soccer camps as well. It is difficult to give parents a time frame for camp dates when we are still working with the directors of operation and the coaches to finalize dates. I typically give them a time frame based on last year because all teams seem to keep the same time frame each year for camps. I continued to monitor the email throughout the day and accept calls as well. We had a few callers ask about refunds, how to register for camps, and what would be taught at the camp. We do not get a schedule of what is benign taught other than a general description of the camp that is put on the website for those interested to see.
