Monday 1/8/24 Journal Entry

I started my office shift out per usual by checking the emails and listening to any voicemails that had been left over the weekend. We did not have any voicemails that had been left over the weekend but we had over 40 emails to go through. Emails from over the weekend were in regard to multiple camps. Many parents and guardians were inquiring about summer camp dates for football, golf, hockey, soccer, and gymnastics. Since it is still early in the year, we are still figuring out our dates for the summer along with a few dates in the spring still. We have to wait on football due to their season running so late. We then have to get into contact with coaches and directors of operation in order to find dates that work for the team. We also had some inquiries about refunds. I had to guide them on how to request a refund as well as what was needed in order to receive one. After answering the emails, I had to send out post-camp surveys to all of the campers from the previous weekend. We use these results to form a report at the end of the season to give to the coaches. They then use the feedback to make changes and make the camper experience better. I continued to monitor the emails and answer phone calls throughout the remainder of my shift as well as file documents and make camp transfers.
