Monday 10/23/23 Journal Entry

I started my shift by reviewing and answering all emails that were from over the weekend and earlier this morning. I also checked to see if there were any voicemails left, this morning there were none. We had a few concerns regarding the registration of a spirit clinic as it was only open to spirit club members and there was a deadline to register for the event. Many parents had missed the deadline and were concerned about the camp filling up and whether they could join a waitlist. As the camp was not full, we had to work with IT to get the link active again for campers to register. We also have another spirit event on Wednesday and some campers still wanted to sign up for the camp or transfer as they could not make the other event being held in November. With there being a price difference, people who transferred had to be refunded the difference. I then left towards the end of my shift to work a cheerleading clinic in the French Field House facility. Since it was just me working the check-in, I had to coordinate with the athletic trainer and the coaches about the participants. After check-in was finished, I called those who had not shown up and communicated with the coach about who had not checked in. Once I was finished, I checked in with my supervisor to tell him how the check-in went.
