Monday 11/27/23 Journal Entry

I started my office shift per usual by answering emails and listening to any voicemails that had been left from over the weekend. There was only one voicemail that had been left and it was regarding a confirmation for a camp as the parent did not receive one and was wondering if it had been sent out. So, I had to call them and let them know the information regarding the confirmation email and to let us know if they had not received it by a certain day in the week. Many confirmations have to be approved by the coach and the director of operations before either we send it out or the coaches themselves send it out. We also had a few emails in regards to confirmations for the softball camps coming up as well as a few withdraws from other camps. We had to also provide refund processes to those who qualified for one after withdrawing from the camps. I continued to monitor the emails throughout the day, but it was a slow day, and not much had come through. I got a phone call in regards to a confirmation for a camp as well as where check-in would be. I tried to give them as much information as I could, but the confirmation was still being finalized and I had to reiterate to them that they would be receiving final details within the coming days. I checked in with my supervisor to see if they needed anything else from me, then left for the day.
