I started my office shift checking all emails and voicemail messages from that morning and from the day before. Since winter break has started, there are only two interns working over break, including myself, and we typically work the same day. I did not have alot of emails due to it being close to the holidays. There were only two voicemail messages as well in regards to how to register for a camp. Many parents and grandparents were interested in gifting summer camps to their kids or grandkids for the holidays. Since we are still working on our summer dates, I gave them as much information as possible since registration was not available for summer camps. I also had some parents request flyers and other information for a camp they had registered for so they could gift it to their children. We typically do not make flyers for the camp due to the information being online as well as we do not do the marketing for the camps. Many teams take the initiative to market their own camps and have advertisements made to post on social media. I continued to monitor the emails and phone calls throughout the day. We had received some calls in regards to where someone was on the waitlist, and tips on how to avoid being on the waitlist for future registrations. Before I left for the day, I checked with my supervisor to see if they needed anything else from me, then left for the day.
