I started my office shifts per usual by checking emails and listening to any voicemails that had been left. There were no voicemails that had been left from the weekend or earlier this morning. We had a few emails from parents concerning hotels to stay at in the area for a camp. We also had inquiries about confirming information for campers has been submitted, what camps are appropriate for their camper, and potential dates for camps in the summer. We have had many inquiries about soccer camps for both men and women Many parents have been looking for dates to be posted as well as if there will be a youth camp. Since a majority of our camps are for prospect age, very few sports do youth camps. If sports do choose to do a youth camp, it's typically only one opportunity as they only choose one date for a youth camp. We had some registration questions throughout the day for football 7 on 7 camps and the coaches' clinic. The registration is different for both events as payments for the 7 on 7 need to be sent in before the camp. Along with registrations for football, we also had to help some parents with registration for volleyball camps for summer and spring. I continued to monitor the emails throughout the day and answer phone calls. We had to help a few parents request refunds and explain that some were not eligible due to them not meeting the requirements of the refund policy or the camp was not refundable.
