Monday 2/19/24 Journal Entry

I started my shift out per usual, by checking the emails and the voicemails that had been left from the weekend as well as this morning. We did not have any voicemails that had been left, but we did more emails than usual. We had multiple cancellations for cheer camps this morning and we had to remind them of the refund policy due to them withdrawing past the two-week period that is allowed. I also gave them the information on how to request a refund if they had qualified for any of the acceptable reasons. We had some questions about registration for football camps and if they were available for registration as well. I gave them the links to the website for registration along with how to register. We also had a few questions in regard to employee discounts for camp along with spirit club questions. We had a special circumstance of a camper not being able to make any events and was inquiring about how to still get the items that were included in the membership. We had to reach out to the coach for the spirit club, but she was traveling for recruiting purposes, so we had to hold off on responding to the parent about the next steps. We continued to get registration questions throughout the day for our summer camps along with questions about summer dates dropping for other sports. We had to organize medical and concussion waivers for a cheer camp happening on Tuesday as well. I continued to monitor the emails and answer phone calls throughout the remainder of my shift.
