Monday 3/4/24 Journal Entry

Today was one of my office shifts, so I started my shift by checking the emails and any voicemails that had been left from the weekend. We did have a few voicemails that had been left. One was about a camper being at the facility and nobody being there for a cheer camp on Sunday, but there was no cheer camp on Sunday so they had just gotten the date mixed up for the camp. We had another voicemail that had some questions about the summer lil spikers camp and what it entailed, so I called them back and answered questions they had in regard to the camp. I then started to check the camp’s email account. We had a parent concerned with their refund as they thought they only received 10 percent of there fee they paid, when I checked the status of the refund it had not even been processed, so I ensured her that we had not processed the refund but will shortly and that she would receive forms to sign within the next few days. I then went through some emails in regard to registering for team camps and individual camps and the processes for each of those types of registrations. We had some questions about how discounts would be applied and when they would receive them as some discounts apply in different ways for sports. I continued to monitor the emails until I had to go and work the cheer camp at French Field House. The only materials I needed were the waivers for the trainer and the parking form for parents to scan. The only issues we had during the camp were the trainer running late nad the parking zone not working again. Since it was a smaller camp, I had time to stay behind and walk through the parking with the parents and wait for the trainer to show up.
