Monday 9/25/23 Journal Entry

I started my work day by logging into the computer and pulling up all necessary tabs in order to answer any questions that may have been sent in by parents and campers. Our office space is finally set up and we now have our computers and our phone back. This means that we can now fully do our jobs and not have to depend on relaying messages for supervisors to call back those who left messages. We had quite a few emails regarding a new registration that has opened up regarding a spirit club membership, lacrosse, and a wrestling coaching clinic. With regards to the coaching clinic, there were multiple questions regarding transactions and how to do it as one rather than multiple. We then had to convey to those who were trying to make one collective payment that they could email in the registration for them and their staff or they had the option to call and register over the phone. We had a coach end up calling within minutes to register his staff and we had to process an over-the-phone payment as well as input them into our system, deposit the payment, and run a report for the purchase. We had an issue in regards to a previous purchase not being closed out on the credit card machine and had to figure out where the other payments came from along with the one we just received. After that, I continued to respond to emails until the end of my shift.
