Today I worked a softball camp that was being held at the Indoor Woody Hayes Facility. I was working with one of my supervisors, so I did not have to pick up the box of materials for the camp. When we arrived at the facility, we did not have much to set up for the camp. We did not have to set up the table for check-in due to there already being a desk within the facility. We met with the coach and the trainers to determine how the flow of the camp wanted to go. The coach gave us the rundown of how she wanted check-in to look as well as nametags for the campers This was difficult due to how the registration was broken up. It was broken up by position and then alphabetically in each position. So, we could not really determine an efficient system for check-in rather than alternate the nametag sheets while we were checking people in on top of double-checking the medical history for the trainers. Check-in had a few bumps, but other than that it went fairly quickly and efficiently for all parties involved. All participants showed up early and we did not have to call any that day due to them emailing in saying that they were not attending. After we finished checking in all the participants, we checked with the coach to see if she needed anything else from us before we left. Once we got all things done that she wanted, we were free to go for the day.
