Today I had the responsibility of working at a Tuesday Night Hit Club Baseball Camp. I had to prepare the medical waivers, grab the credit card machine, and extra medical waivers in case a camper did not send theirs in. When I arrived at the camp, I had to set up my things and pull up the check-in app that is used for checking in campers. This is a reoccurring camp for the next few months so a majority of the campers that are registered have already checked in for the camp. When I located the camp in the app, I saw that I only had to check four campers in. I then met with the athletic trainer and gave her the rundown on how a camp usually runs and what to do during and after the camp, as she had never worked a camp. I gave her the proper contact information if she had any questions regarding what to do for the camp as well. Once I started checking in, I only had two campers check in with me. I then had to call the campers I had not checked in to see if they were still attending the camp. Neither camper's parents had answered their phone, so I left a voicemail so they were aware the camp was still occurring. I then communicated with the coach about attendance and if he needed anything else from me. After talking with him, I packed up my materials and went home.
