Wednesday 1/10/24 Journal Entry

I started my office shift by checking the emails and voicemails. We had a few emails from the day before in regard to future camp dates for hockey and other summer camp dates. We also had some questions in regard to confirmations for camps coming up over the weekend. Many were concerned since they had not received a confirmation email for the camps and were wondering if the camp had been canceled due to the weather forecast as well as what the next steps were if it were to be canceled. Since the camp was already inside, they were going to keep things the same and let others know if anything was going to change within 24 hours of the camp start time. We also had some emails about refunds, signing completions and people asking for the forms to be resent due to them missing the signing time frame for them. We had a few calls throughout the shift inquiring about camp dates and what camps entailed as they had heard about the camps from a friend or had attended the year before. We also had some parents ask about cheer camps and how to potentially be more prepared when registering for them since they sell out within 15 minutes typically. I gave them some tips about when the camps typically go live and when dates are posted so they have a better chance of getting a spot. I continued to monitor emails and answer phone calls for the remainder of my shift.
