I started my office shift out per usual by checking emails and voicemails. We did not have any voicemails this morning from the day before or early morning. We had multiple emails to go through that included camp dates, refunds, waitlists, and cancellations due to a camp moving up. The camp that had been moved up was the lacrosse camp that was already affected by the dead period for recruiting. They had moved the start time up for the camp due to the anticipated weather coming into the weekend. They allowed all of those who were not able to make the new start time to request a refund by the end of the day today. So, I kept a list of those requesting a refund for the camp for the refund officer to make it easier. We also had a few cancellations for other sports due to prior commitments, so we had to walk them through the refund process. We do have some parents who just do not want to attend the camps anymore the week of, but we let them know that due to the refund policy if it is not for an injury, illness, or school event, they are not eligible for a refund. I continued to monitor the email and take phone calls throughout the day. I also scanned in waivers and incident reports from previous camps for our files. I answered a few more emails, finished the refund list for the lacrosse camp, and answered a few phone calls before leaving for the day.
