Wednesday 1/24/24 Journal Entry

I started my shift by reading all unread emails and checking the voicemails that had been left from the day before. Many camp registrations for summer have started to open up and many people were trying to register late at night. Our registration system had been down at the time many people were trying to register, so we had a few emails and voicemail messages about it. I responded to all informing them that our system was down and that they should be able to register today with no issues and apologized more for the malfunction within the system. We also had a few people inquiring about information for the upcoming camps this weekend and when they would be receiving a confirmation. We ensured that a confirmation would be sent out within the coming days and to reach out if they had not received one. We went live with our spirit club women’s basketball event as well, so we had many questions regarding fees, and how they receive their tickets for the event. We gave them the information that we had and if it was a ticketing question, we referred them to the ticketing office as they help ensure seats are together for the event. Many of our football camps had gone live as well, so we were answering questions about equipment and whether there would be other universities recruiting at the camp. I answered a few phone calls and continued to monitor the emails throughout the remainder of my shift.
