Wednesday 10/25/23 Journal Entry

I started my shift out per usual answering emails and seeing if there were any voicemails left the day before or early in the morning. The main questions that were received were regarding the multiple major camps that were happening in the coming days. There was a spirit club performance, that I was working, on later tonight, a wrestling coaches clinic on Thursday, and a lacrosse and softball camp on Sunday. Many parents were having issues regarding claiming tickets and being able to purchase additional tickets. We had to contact the ticket office as well as the director of operations for the spirit program to help get the ticket situation resolved for parents. Once the link had been fixed and tickets were adjusted, parents were contacted to ensure that the problem had been resolved and that we could walk them through the process if needed. After contacting the parents, I had to make credentials for the coaches' clinic and enter any last-minute registrations in our system as well. I answered a few more emails before heading to the check-in for the spirit performance. We had to set up and meet with the trainer and director of operations to see how they wanted check-in to run. We checked campers in, gave them an assigned group, and had them pick up items that they may have not had the opportunity to get earlier in the week. Once check-in had come to an end, we called any campers who had not checked in to see if they were still arriving and communicated with the director of operations.
