Wednesday 11/1/23 Journal Entry

I started out my day by responding to emails and there were no voicemails that were left from the last few days, so that was one less thing to do at the beginning of my shift. It has slowed down due to the camp season slowing down and having fewer camps. The only camp going on this week was a men’s gymnastics camp. I received a few calls regarding the confirmation of the camp as to when it was going to be sent out and where check-in was. I also received a few calls regarding the ongoing spirit club membership that combines both the cheer and dance teams. There is a basketball event that many parents have registered for and need additional tickets for the event. There were also questions regarding seat placement and other details that had yet to be confirmed by the director of operations. We had to remind parents that a confirmation would be sent out regarding the event as well as collecting tickets and purchasing additional tickets. We also had some pushback from parents wanting to pay the registration fee as they had already paid to be in the club. We had to reiterate what was covered in the membership and that it only allowed for priority registration. Before leaving for the day, I checked with my supervisor if they needed anything else from me and confirmed the report time for the camp I was assigned on Saturday.
