Today, I started my office shift out per usual by answering emails and seeing if any voicemails were left by parents or guardians regarding camp questions. There were not very many emails that needed to be answered nor were there any voicemails that were left as well. The few emails we did receive were ticket questions and future camp dates. The ticket questions were in regard to the Men’s Basketball Spirit Club performance happening Sunday as many families were looking to buy extra tickets on top of the ones that were provided in their registration for the event. Future camp date inquiries were regarding summer camps such as gymnastics, football, and lacrosse. Once all emails were answered, I got assigned a project to make new folders on teams as that is how we manage our information. The first folder was for the summer camp season. From there I had to create folders for each sport that holds camps within athletics. Then I had to put in the customized financial reports for each sport. This project was to help keep things organized and stay ahead of the workload as summer is the busiest season for the camps and clinics department. After completing that portion of the project, I then added folders of all the sports in post-camp filing for the season to help stay organized. Post-camp filing is mainly for incident reports during the camp and waivers to ensure all participants' safety. After completing my project, I had a few phone calls regarding the spirit club performance as well as a few more emails.
