Wednesday 11/23/23 Journal Entry

Today I answered emails from the day before and listened to any voicemails that were left by any parents. I had some parents asking how to request a refund for a camp as well as some questions regarding the lacrosse camp coming within the next few weeks. Since Thanksgiving was the next day, it was fairly slow in the office. Everyone was working from home or they had taken the day off before the holiday. It was only me and one other person who also interns for the camps department that came in. We did not receive any other emails for the remainder of my shift. I also did not receive any calls throughout my shift as well. Since there was no work to be done or any files that needed to be put into the system, I decided to work on some homework during my shift. Our supervisors allow us to work on any homework or take a break if all the work is taken care of. So, I did some assignments to get ahead with the holiday coming up along with many other family events. There were no calls or emails during the remainder of my shift nor did any other work need to be done. My supervisors were not in the office, so I did not check with them if anything else needed to be done due to them being out of the office.
