I started my shift by responding to emails on the camp email account. I typically listen to voicemails that were left over the past few days, but there were none. The emails that were received entailed multiple refund requests, updates on the requests, and why they have not received their refund yet. Typically, we just defer these emails to the person in charge of refunds as we cannot authorize or deny refunds. The only thing we can see is the reasoning behind why it was rejected or accepted. We also had a few campers withdraw from the softball camp that was happening over the weekend, so we had to withdraw and send the refund process to them as well. Once I was finished with emails, I got assigned the project to send out post-camp surveys for the camps office. There is a special survey software that is used to send the surveys out. I had to get access to it and then learn how to use it. I had some issues with the survey updating to the spring sports. We had to troubleshoot many different things in order for it to save the changes, yet it still was not saving the changes. So, we had to give it time to see if it would update and it still did not. My supervisor and I decided to wait it out for the weekend and see if it accepted the changes.
