Wednesday 3/6/24 Journal Entry

Today was my last office shift of the week, when I arrived I put the parking materials back from Monday’s cheer camp and then logged into the computer to start viewing emails and voicemails. We had many inquiries about both the men’s and women’s basketball camps for the summer and when they would be but we have been in contact with the team trying to finalize dates. This meant we could not give them a definite answer for them only a time frame of when the camp would be as they typically keep the same month for all camps.  We also had questions about the Men’s Hockey Camps and whether there would be a high school age camp, the team only has hosted younger age camps for the past few years though and dates had already been finalized for the summer. We also had a camp change for the ice hockey camps as the 8u camp for the morning was switched to a 10u camp due to higher demand for that age group. I had to call two participants to see if they would want to move to the later 8u session and both agreed to move. I then had to transfer them to the later session. I then had to call those on the waitlist for the 10u session to see if they were open to the early session of 10u and most agreed. We then sent out a link to all of those on the waitlist and gave them the first opportunity to register for the camp. When there was a break during work, I met with my supervisor and did my mentorship goals worksheet for the mentorship course.
