Wednesday 9/27/23 Journal Entry

Today is one of my regularly scheduled office days for my internship. I started my day by answering emails and listening to voicemail messages that were left by campers or their parents. Once my supervisor came in, I had to ask a few questions regarding the registration process along with a new membership that the cheer and dance have started this year. I then had to do a few registrations over the phone for a coaches clinic for wrestling and take payment over the phone. Once that was complete, I had to enter the coach’s information and payment into our system, deposit the payment, and run a report on the purchase that was made by the coach. I had completed that and went back to answering emails and phone calls throughout my shift. I had to also sort waivers for the camps that were happening over the weekend and reach out to those who had not completed a waiver yet for the camp. I was not working any of the camps this weekend due to there being limited spots, so I did not have to do any prep work other than sorting waivers. I finished my day answering a few more emails and then checked in with my supervisor before I left to see if he needed anything else from me.
